Getting started as a player (16 and over)

From 16 you can follow your own trainings: get a player code from your club, say whether you are coming and tell the coach how hard the training was.

Get your code

Ask your coach for a code "for the player". The coach makes it on your profile, under "Player and parents", with "Code for" › "The player". The club gives a player code from the year you turn 16, by the year of birth the club wrote down. The code works for one account.

  1. Install drillmate and tap "I have a code" on the first screen (or open the link from the coach).
  2. Enter the code, then create your account or sign in.
  3. You see your name, team and club. Tap "Link".

If your parents already follow you in drillmate, they keep doing so; you become the player on the same record, never a second one.

Your tabs

Before a training

You are asked "Are you coming?". Answer "I'm coming" or "Not coming", and say why if you are not. Under "How do you feel?" you can also pick "Fresh", "Fine", "Tired", "Sore" or "Injured". The coach sees it before the training. See Scheduling and who's coming.

After a training

Rate "How hard was the training?" from 1 to 10. The coach uses it to manage your load; your parents do not see your rating.

Injured or ill

On your page, open "Injury / illness", say what it is and when you are back. When you are ready again, tap "I'm back".

First steps

The "First steps" card ticks itself: "You are linked to the team", "Turn on notifications", "Fill in the enrolment form" (when the club asks), "Say whether you are coming to the first training" and "Rate the effort after training".
