Privacy and your data
What drillmate keeps, who sees it, and how to take a copy of your data or delete your account. The full text is in the privacy policy.
Who sees what
- A club sees its own teams, players, trainings, attendance, notes and fees. Nobody outside the club does.
- Staff members see the teams they are on.
- A family sees only their own child: schedule, attendance, notes the coach chose to share, trophies and fees. Never other players, and never who else read a notice.
- Notes are for the staff until a coach shares one with the family. Match ratings are never shown to families.
- Fees are seen by the club's owner, admins and treasurer, and by the child's own family.
- Health data is kept to a minimum: the medical check is only a date and who confirmed it. A family's note on the enrolment form is read only by the team's staff, the club's owner and admins and the family, and never appears in a list, a PDF or a notification.
- A child's trophies belong to the family: another club never sees what the child won before.
- drillmate stores no photos of children. The only images are club crests.
Nobody sees a child's information without a code from the club. See Codes and linking a family.
Usage data
Share usage data (under Privacy and data) sends which screens and features you use, with no names, emails, children or notes, so we know what to fix. Turn it off and nothing is sent. There is no advertising and no tracking for marketing.
Export your data
- Open Menu › Privacy and data (in the family app Account › Privacy and data; on the web, Settings › Privacy and data).
- Tap Export my data.
You get a file with everything your account holds. If you signed in more than 15 minutes ago, your password is asked first.
Delete your account
- Open Privacy and data as above and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete my account.
The account is deleted at once and cannot be restored. Before that, drillmate may ask you to:
- transfer ownership of a club that has other members (Transfer ownership);
- cancel a running subscription in the App Store or Google Play, so it does not keep charging.
What happens to your data — what is deleted and what a club keeps without your name — is explained step by step on Delete your account. If you cannot sign in, write to privacy@drillmate.app from the account's address.
How long data is kept
drillmate deletes data on a schedule: expired codes and sessions soon after they expire, notices 24 months after they were posted, fee records after three full financial years, and a player who left is anonymised after a set period. The privacy policy lists every period.
