Days off and venues

Mark holidays and breaks so regular trainings are not offered on those days, and keep the club's venues with an address families can open in maps.

Days off

A day off is a Holiday or a Break. On those days the team's regular trainings are not offered for booking, and families get no "who's coming" question or reminder.

Who adds them:

Staff members and families see days off but do not add them.

Add a day off

  1. Open Days off: Club › Reports › Days off, or the Menu if you have no Club tab. A coach on their own sees All my teams instead of the whole club.
  2. Tap Add a day off.
  3. Choose Holiday or Break, give it a Name, and set From and To (up to 120 days).
  4. Under For, choose the whole club or the teams.
  5. Leave Tell the families on to notify them once. Later edits are not sent again.
  6. Save.

Trainings that are already booked on those days stay. drillmate shows them on the plan and on your home with Cancel or move; cancelling tells the families.

Deleting a day off brings the regular days back for booking.

Venues

The club keeps a list of its venues, so you pick one for a team or a training instead of typing it each time.

The club's owner, admins and coaches add and change venues. Staff members see them. Families never see the list, only the venue of their own trainings.

Add a venue

  1. Open the club's profile (Club › the banner at the top), then Venues. A coach without the Club tab finds Venues in the Menu.
  2. Tap Add a venue and enter the Name and Address.
  3. Tap Look up the address to find it on the map (data © OpenStreetMap contributors). If nothing is found, enter the Coordinates by hand.
  4. Save.

Then choose the venue on a team (Edit team › Venue) or on a single training. A training without its own venue uses the team's.

Families see the venue on the training and tap Open in maps to get directions. Trainings in a calendar link also carry the address.

Remove venue takes it off the list; past trainings keep it, and teams that trained there are left without a venue.
